System integration was established in 1993.  A few people heard about  the expertise I offered, so I picked up some side jobs.  Soon word of mouth spread, and a new company was born!

Mar 27, 2010 System Integration gets contract to develop website for California printing company.

Oct 15, 2009 System Integration rebuilds set of cutting mechanisms and updates design

July  30, 2009  The Osmetech XT-8 platform (Douglas Canfield was a primary manager of the instrument and software design) receives a another prestigious 2009 R&D Magazine Top 100 R&D Award.

Apr  10, 2009  The Osmetech XT-8 platform (Douglas Canfield was a primary manager of the instrument and software design) receives a highly prestigious 2009 Medical Design Excellence Award.

Apr  08, 2009  System Integration gets contract to update sign printing software and to build another system.

Dec 15, 2008  Help Osmetech complete the software validation of the improved Warfarin Plus test and edit the software section of the FDA 510(k) submission.


Dec 8, 2008  System Integration re-opens its doors after Doug leaves full time work at Osmetech Molecular Diagnostics.


June 20, 2006  Doug moves to Ludington, Michigan but continues to work for Osmetech as a remote employee.


May 2, 2000  System Integration stops taking on new work as Doug accepts a full time position with Clinical Micro Sensors.  Clinical Micro Sensors is subsequently purchased by Motorola who later sells it to Osmetech.
