Lazarus (so named after Lazarus of the Bible-- a project raised from the dead) was a flexible data collection system that interfaced with a bank of HP34401 digital volt meters for real-time data collection on several channels.  The system allowed definition of each meter including its purpose, scaling and engineering units.
