The impedance testing system performs several electrical tests on electrically operated ultrasonic scalpel.  The software allows the user to to specify testing conditions, criteria and thresholds and then automates the actual test including excitation of the instrument, data collection, analysis and archiving.  Although developed over ten years ago, this system has been enhanced and is still in use.
